Dustship Glory

By , November 29, 2016 4:58 pm

Hey folks! Not sure how many people will see this but I thought I’d let you know that I recently completed a new graphic novel – Dustship Glory! It’s adapted from a novel of the same name, about a (possibly) crazy guy who attempted to build a steamship in the middle of the Canadian Prairies during the Depression. (And the best part – it’s based on a true story)

You can buy the physical book from my online store here, and I’ve also uploaded a PDF to Gumroad here for just $4.99 (CAN).

Want to read a free preview? I’ve uploaded one of those, too! You can read the first chapter (27 pages) right here.

Thanks, and much love! <3 <3

Also did a gallery update so have a look at that too~

Stay tuned to Twitter for further updates on another new comic I’ll be debuting at this year’s Saskatoon Expo!

Gallery Update

By , August 6, 2014 3:37 pm

Hey guys, I just did another gallery update…check it out! Also, quick reminder – I’m working on a new comic, Dustship Glory (the above image is a double-page spread from the first issue). It’s adapted from Andreas Schroeder’s novel of the same name and I describe it as a story about “a possibly crazy guy who builds a ship in the middle of the prairies during the Depression – AND it’s based on a true story!” You can get the first issue as a PDF here or a real print comic here. And, check out some preview pages on my Tumblr here!

Dustship Glory #1

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know about a new comic I just did – Dustship Glory.  It’s adapted from a novel by Andreas Schroeder about a incredibly strange guy from Finland named Tom Sukanen who settled in Saskatchewan and built a steamship in the middle of the prairies during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. AND it’s based on a true story! Truth really is stranger than fiction. You can buy a PDF here or a print copy here! (Schroeder is totally cool with all of this, don’t worry) You can also get a print copy from me in person at VanCAF 2014, May 24th & 25th – see you there!
